"Beautiful restaurant - the decor, the music, created a royal atmosphere. Service was fast, though I acknowledge eating here during the Super Bowl would help speed up service. Food was delicious. For those new to Indian food, I highly recommend the vegetable platter for appetizers to get the variety! Always also recommend getting the naan with the entree (this time got the garlic naan), as well as, for the entrees, chicken tikka masala (always a safe choice) and paneer saag. You will get full fast and probably leave with some leftovers!"

"We went for a family dinner with 10 people...food was just ok- some very spicy despite asking for a milder version. We enjoy spicy food, but it was just heat beyond reason. Place is very nicely decorated and servers were pleasant, but didn't come around to ask how the food was. Portions were small for the prices...so overall a little disappointing."

"I got takeout for my birthday—tandoor chicken, garlic rosemary naan, shrimp curry, and a mango lassi. Everything was so good. I've eaten at Color of Spices before; it's always good. But I will agree with other reviews; it was better pre-COVID (but many restaurants I find have had a tough time since the pandemic). I also would have wanted more shrimp. There was a lot of curry but not enough shrimp."

"Went here today for lunch. The Lamb Kebab and Goat Curry was just right. Curry offered just the right amount of heat. The portions could be more for the cost, I think. But then again it's in RVC."
