Reviews of La Cabra Bakery
"Really great bakery that has gotten a lot of deserved hype lately. Came here on a busy weekend but the line moved really fast. Got a warm cardamom bun, the bread and butter, and the matcha. The bread and butter honestly was the star of the show for me. The bread tasted so fresh and the butter had a really sweet and savory taste. The cardamom bun was also really good as well and definitely lives up to the buzz. Highly recommend!!"
"Always love their bakery all time favorite is the cardamom bun however it is seemingly declining a little bit not sure if its because the winter season the bread is not as puffy. But don’t get me wrong it is still delicious and better than most bun I had in the city."
"Met up with a friend here on a Sunday morning. I did enjoy the coffee lab experience and wished I could've stayed a little longer and/or even see them make the Brazilian roast I ordered. The pastries were delicate. While I did opt for a cardamom bun, I did try the carrot and cheese pastry my friend ordered. The savory and flaky was a really nice touch."
"Great coffee and pastries. Many coffee options are lighter roasts with more focus on the fruity and acidic aspects. The croissant relies more on crisping and browning than fermentation to develop flavor, with a light and fluffy texture. The cardamom bun is fragrant and a bit sticky from the glaze; keep a napkin handy. Recommended."
"Warm delicious pastries fresh out of the oven! Loved the cinnamon bun, caneles, and pastries. Unlike some bakeries that add a chunk of butter and leave you feeling sick, the croissants here have just the perfect balance. Coffee is great too!"
