"Well priced set menu with a range of classic and unique sushi options. They do have some smaller sake bottles for individual diners although I wish they had more options. Service is friendly and prompt. Good spot to check out if you want good sushi in the west village!"
"We had such a fabulous time at Sushi Kai for my birthday. The fish is so incredible, the rice was warm, and the flavors are classic and thoughtful, with occasional truffle flair. The staff is amazing!! I can't remember the last time I went somewhere and immediately felt like we were family!! At the end of the meal, the chef created a small bowl of what he noticed were my three favorite nigiri from the night and put a candle in it!!! So lovely. I've already suggested it to all my friends and can't wait to go back."
"Second time visiting. Solid choice for an under $100 omakase. Foie gras on sushi is like heaven in your mouth! I’ve noticed you guys sell your own alcohol now. Is byob still accepted?"
"Wow wow wow is all I can say! What an experience. Jordan is an artist. The omakase is amazing. Everything is so fresh and traditional with an interesting element. One of the best omakases I have had in general, not only New York. The shrimp with foie gras is my FAVORITE by far."
"The food was delicious and unique! The only thing missing is a bit more explanation from the staff regarding the menu, pricing and traditions of the Japanese kitchen (for example, use the wet wipe to clean your fingers between Nigiris). It would just make the experience better. But the food and atmosphere were perfect."
