"Bought the Sushi Tokyo Market Premium set and the Chirashi First Class, with a pickled vegetables and their sweet soy sauce. At pick up the sushi was in the fridge and the handoff was smooth. The rice was nice, but the fish quality of the sushi set was meh. The squid sushi was incredibly rubbery; the parts of skin that were left on were tough to chew on. Chirashi was better. The pickled veg portion is quite small (4oz)."
"Always wanted to try Osakana and I was really disappointed with what I received. The fish quality is ok and the rice was so thick. It’s not soft as how you’d usually eat it at a restaurant. Not sure if it was because they placed the sushi in the fridge or maybe they didn’t season the rice enough. I’ve had better nigiri and chirashi in the city for takeout that costs the same. Don’t be mistaken by presentation as the taste was honestly not there."
"For a fun date or dinner hosting idea, you should definitely get precut sashimi and cooked sushi rice from here, and then get nori and other add ons from here or elsewhere, to make your own handrolls, nigiri, and sashimi! The salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and scallops were delicious! The tamago was decent, and the uni/fish eggs were a bit underwhelming but overall, a great place!"
"I don’t know WHERE these stellar reviews are coming from because almost every fish that we ordered had massive amounts of veins and sinew them - I had to spit out every bite of toro and salmon and this was across all three orders that we made. The food LOOKS good and salivating but nothing was really edible and I didn’t finish my bowl. The rice is hard and not seasoned the way I’d expect sushi rice to be and the fish was sinewy to the point of being inedible at times. We ordered two types of rice bowls and a sushi set. Sushi set was slightly less sinewy. The quality of the fish is fresh, but the cut is absolutely awful and flavor isn’t quite there. The best part of raw fish is the way it melts in your mouth with rich flavor and texture, you totally can’t enjoy it if you’re spitting out every bite from extreme chewiness."
"Amazing sushi. Definitely order online ahead of time - they are busy and sell out. A bit pricy but it’s very high quality. I had raw scallops for the first time and they were so delicious."
