"This was our planned stop from South Florida on our way to Pennsylvania. We have 4 pets so we had 2 hotel rooms booked. Due to many travel delays we did not check in until after midnight. Julie at the front desk was extremely thoughtful, helpful and accommodating. She found us 2 rooms on the ground floor next to the side entrance door, across the hall from each other. Julie made a difference. Breakfast was included which made our lives a lot easier especially traveling with pets and it was very good. The hotel was very clean. All the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend especially if traveling with pets."

"Walls are paper thin. The neighbors baby cried most of the night. Heard it all. Earlier it sounded like a ball bouncing off the wall. I complained to the front desk. Said they'd call them. Never heard the phone ring and the banging never stopped. --Great location. Make sure you dine at Eddie's. --Lobby and rooms were unwelcoming. Music in lobby way too loud and lights too bright. Breakfast was adequate. Beds were hard and not comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Property was clean."

"Great Hotel. Beautiful, clean and quiet rooms. Bright, open and lively lobby. Large choice of snacks and drinks (alcohol) at the lobby market. Tesla destination charger filed up my 4xe. Will definitely stay here again. Dog friendly."

"I attended a wedding at the Trump golf course on Lake Norman at the end of August and stayed at the Tru by Hilton for 2 nights. My room was clean and everything was in working order. The room was a little small but suitable for the 2 of us. The front desk and and all of the other hotel workers I encountered were polite and professional, The free breakfast was good and the automatic pancake machine was a hoot. I would recommend this hotel."

"Our stay at Tru was a last-minute decision, and we worried we couldn't be accommodated. The staff at Tru were able to get us and our dog taken care of and into our room within 20 minutes. The lobby was a very happy and welcoming area. Room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying at Tru going forward where ever we go!"
