"I frequent this Andy's location and have never had an issue until I went this past Saturday night. It was storming and I wanted to try the new Cookie butter crunch concrete. I went through the drive thru and that's what I ordered and since it was night and raining pretty hard, I just requested a lid and went about my way. I got all the way home and realized they'd given me the wrong order. I tried calling, but the voicemail picked up and it was full. I decided to drive back up there, despite the awful weather. I got there and explained that I'd been given the wrong thing. I was then told that I asked for the "crunch", when in fact I'd asked for the "COOKIE BUTTER CRUNCH". Once I got to the window, I was again told that the cookie butter concrete doesn't even have the word "crunch" at the end of the title. It, in fact, does (huge poster on the window, btw). Instead of taking accountability for their mistake, the manager, Lisa, had an attitude and informed me that for all my inconvenience of driving back during this awful weather, her remaking the concrete was all she was going to do. Not once did she apologize for THEIR mistake or really try to make the situation right. She then argued back and forth with me about it. I was so disgusted with all of their behavior this past Saturday night. I was made to feel as if it was MY fault for THEIR mistake and they were just doing ME a favor by remaking it. I will not be visiting this location again unfortunately due to the manager, Lisa's awful behavior."
"Update- I was asked to email them however I have not heard anything back from them in a week. Update 2- sent another email over a week ago and still have not heard anything back. We have been Andy’s customers since they opened in Concord and have always had good service and quality food however something bad has happened at this location. I don’t think anyone is in charge or even cares what’s going on. We pulled up to the window and gave our order and were immediately and rudely told to go park even know there were no cars behind us. After a long wait an order came out and was shoved into our car and the employee just left. Not one order was even close to correct and our order is very simple. Every cup was covered with dripping custard so it made a complete mess of the car and our clothing. This was so bad I wondered if we were on one of those social media pranks. We found a trash can and just threw everything away."
"Have been twice in the last 3 weeks. First time the service was great but the custard had a sour flavor. Like old milk. I could not finish the concrete. Just went again yesterday and got the cookie Casanova. Service was fast and great again. Most of the concrete was great. At the bottom, I started getting soured milk flavor again. Not enough to toss this time, but enough to notice. Will maybe try again because the mix ins and stuff are great. But I'm just wondering about the old, sour milk flavor. Maybe a machine cleaning thing?"
"This experience is from Thursday Dec. 28th around 8:10pm. I've been a loyal customer of Andy's Ice Cream, visiting the location multiple times and always enjoying a great experience—until today. Despite patiently waiting in line for 30 minutes, we were informed they were out of vanilla while still in line. No problem, we adjusted our order and when we arrive at the order window we changed everything to chocolate. However, upon reaching the window and trying to order, we were abruptly told the walk up window was closed, accompanied by very rude remarks from the lady serving us. (Keep in mind there is a line wrapping around the building for the drive thru, and we are literally the only people left at the window. What was very surprising was those before and after us were allowed to order vanilla (keep in mind she kept taking orders after us). When questioning this, we faced further rudeness from the female employee. It appeared that the group behind us was some of her friends since she talked to them for quite awhile and even gave them an additional ice cream for free (vanilla)! But I am not sure why she chose to attack us with her rude remarks and attitude. While we didn't get our requested vanilla, we did receive our chocolate orders after many more rude remarks from the female employee. There was one male employee that was very positive and tried to make the best out of a very obviously rude situation. Leaving the establishment, we spotted vanilla being served from the machine, indicating a staff member's bad day was unfairly taken out on us. I've attached a photo of the female employee in the hope that Andy's Ice Cream addresses this issue for future patrons. A disappointing departure from my usual positive experiences."
"Better than ice cream, though almost the same. Walk-up window service or drive through only. No indoor seating. Root beer float was good."
