"Drove there looking for a place to consign with. My wardrobe which is very nice higher end, would not fit in. I found the clothing choices frumpy; not at all contemporary. More like fashion backward. Winter stock extremely low for mid January. Quite disappointed in lack of good to better brands. Walked out empty handed, which is unlike me. Small store. Plenty room for improvement."

"This eclectic consignment shop in the Village Gate in Fairport is one of my favorite shops to find one-of-a-kind outfits, dresses, accessories. You can find evening wear, designer garments. The owners and staff are amazing, and you will find new finds daily. You wouldn't believe the number of times I found garments on the mannequins in the window and walked out with them all! They have a highly selective process in accepting any clothing, you won't find out of style or out of season clothes. It's always a treat spending time here!"

"They lost the items I brought in for them to sell. Dealing with different people on different phone calls was not advantageous. What I was told by one manager as a settlement for the issue is not what the owners settled on, and they laughed at me out loud when I told them what the manager told me was the settlement. Another employee told me how to behave in the store. I was at a level of frustration that was unbelievable when I had to explain the situation for the 4th time to the owner, and she would not let me complete a sentence without interrupting me. Finally the owners daughter told her to just write the check. I went there because I was told by a good friend that this was the best shop around. This was my first attempt at consignment - NEVER again. Watch what is promised."
