"The only good thing about this hotel was the location! When we arrived we had no heat it was 35 degrees outside and inside the room! They sent a woman down to fix it she did get it running but it wasn’t blowing but puke warm air at best! Had to heat the room with the hair dryer on the wall!!!! No hot water and no water pressure! It was a horrible stay we will NOT be back! Also no office on site no communication with the office! Just awful!"
"Upon arrival to checkin, we were unable to contact anyone. No one on site and the gentleman on site was rude and hung up on us multiple time. Housekeeping had to call the management company just to get anything done. Room wasn’t horrible. It was clean and quiet. No hot water…. I travel for a living and my career has allowed me to travel to 41 different states, and thousands of motels. I’ve stayed in resorts and I’ve stayed in $29.99 motels. This hotel is worth about $free.99 Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’m truly embarrassed for the new owner. If they don’t get a grip on this operation, it will be vacant with boards on it soon."
"Two people should each get a hot shower at the end of the night but in our case the first person got a short warm shower and the second person had a shower getting cold by the end. We had called ahead asking about the water problem suggested by other reviewers and were assured it was taken care of so we didn’t rebook but we’re very disappointed. It’s too bad, because this is a clean hotel, with a great view off the beaten path, and I wanted to like it more than we did. The employee answering the phone was very unprofessional, answering a tired “hello,” without identifying themselves in r the hotel, and not willing to resolve any issues before or after our visit. We came in too late at night to ask for any help on the premises, we were just really disappointing about the water."
"Rented a single king. - Let's start here, it was two twin bunk beds pushed together with a futon mattress over top. 4 night stay - no one even emptied the garbage. asked for an extra blanket twice, never received it. heater didn't work blew air that smelled like mold - the room already smelled like mold and didn't want to increase that smell. stinkbugs loud from the road traffic The water pressure was a trickle at best, and the fixture gaped at the wall. The TV didn't turn on for news or events. The parking lot is what you'd expect on a mountain -steep, so be careful the view was fantastic, if you wanted to deal w/ the flying beetles and stink bugs (the bodies littered the communal balcony, not cleaned off). It was horrible experience. 10/10 do NOT recommend."
"This place is a really good location, more private and close to attractions. It was quiet and near the woods, with the exception of the garbage truck banging the dumpster around at 4am. It's right next to the woods and they had a little hangout area with a fire pit which was nice. The fire pit had no propane. We booked the room for one night at $273 and I must say I was surprised to see that it's similar to a hostel. The beds are basically bunk beds with plastic mattresses pushed together and stacked for up to 4 guests. The beds aren't terrible but not comfortable either. The major problem I had was finding out we had NO HOT WATER and no way to bathe without freezing. There's nothing worse than walking all day,.feeling gross by the end of the day, then only to find out you don't have any hot water to shower. I emailed and called the hotel to fix it and nobody answered. I went and read other reviews to see they haven't had hot water for 10 months and nobody answered them either. This is a huge issue and I'm shocked to see it's gone on this long without being fixed. Paying close to $300 a night for a mediocre room with no hot water is insane. We had to bathe at the sink with a cold wash cloth."
