"A very affordable place to stay. The rooms are large compared to some of the stays in gatlinburg, which made it more comfortable when we got snowed in. The hotel made it very easy and affordable for us to extend our stay until it was safe to travel. I really enjoyed the breakfasts. It was a nice selection of hot and cold."

"If I could give a BELOW 1 STAR I would! Front desk staff was not present when we arrived. We finally called and someone came to answer the phone as we stood in the lobby. We were then informed we could NOT check in until after 2 due to rooms not being cleaned yet. (There were NO cars in the lot at this time) After wasting time, we returned at 2:30 to be told we could not check in until 3. When I made the reservation, I told them we have an emotional support dog - with documentation - yet at check in we were informed of an additional $40 fee. They finally gave us key cards to a 1st floor balcony room - balcony overlooks the side of the office! The cards would NOT unlock our door, so my husband went back and asked for assistance. Before the front desk individual came, he visibly RECODED our cards, then proceeded to treat us as if we were incompetent when he came & unlocked our door with the RECODED cards. After a WONDERFUL experience at Quality Inn Alcoa last night, we are EXTREMELY disappointed here. The room IS clean, but the outside walkways are filthy and it's obvious that nothing is being done for upkeep. We are apprehensive about breakfast IN A LODGING ROOM ON ANOTHER FLOOR, but will give it a try tomorrow. WE ARE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS EXPERIENCE and will be hesitant to reserve another "Choice" hotel."

"Extremely dated rooms, in need of a facelift, badly. The mattress was awful, and we kind of rolled to the center all night. We killed 2 roaches in our room the morning we left. Thankful we didn't see them until the last day. For $160 nightly, it was not worth it. Pick a different place. To the owners, there's so much potential here. Update this gem and get rid of the bugs! If you just need a place to pass out, I guess this will work, however, if you're looking for a decent hotel with comfortable bedding and no sign of roaches, this isn't the place for you. I'm thankful we passed on the free breakfast. The gentleman who checked us in, however, was polite, efficient, and nice. We still won't return."

"Great room for a great price. Our stay on October 8-9 was in a room with a mountain view and fireplace. Everything was just as we expected with the location perfect for walking into downtown Gatlinburg. The breakfast bar was also better than most with a great selection of food items. The lady who manages it definitely works hard to keep it well stocked, organized, and very clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future!"

"We checked out within 30-45 minutes of our arrival. Yeah, that quick. We were traveling to celebrate our anniversary with our 2 dogs. The first room - there was leftover food in the nightstand dated back 10.14.2023. The smell was horrid, and we asked to change rooms - which we did. The second (and last) room smelled like pet urine, and the patio door DID NOT lock. We didn't feel safe leaving our belongings there. The rooms seem to be outdated - pictures are deceiving. Location is good for walking distance for attractions and restaurants. We had a great view! We just couldn't get comfortable for the weekend there"
