"Long but worth it! As the manager of a 5*bed and breakfast I would like to say I know what to look for on cleanliness of rooms and friendliness of staff. We originally booked at this location because it had a Jacuzzi tub. We were in room 206 which seemed pretty clean. The first thing I always do is check the air filters in the unit and they were clean. There was some wrappers behind the bed but nothing too bad. The first night we used the Jacuzzi tub and the Jets did not work also it did not drain you had to hold the lever down until the whole tub drained which took about 20 minutes. There was also mold above the air conditioner. The rooms said they had noise makers but they don't. The windows do not have curtains they're solid wood that close off all light. The mattress was terrible. It was actually a memory foam but it had never been spun around so I literally cried in the middle of the night because I have cervical problems. Now this is where the change happens. Also, I wanted to know when we checked in there was two gentlemen by the name of like Larry and Jerry or something they rhymed. They were super nice. Also gave me a bunch of extra towels and coffee. By the way the coffee in 206 was not good. I went to the desk and met with the owners the next morning and they were wonderful. I told them about all of our issues and they gladly moved me to a room at Cars cottages which is next door. It was on the river and very nice. The room was clean, instead of carpet it had nice laminate flooring and a balcony. I stayed in room 303 and I loved it. It was two beds instead of one but the bed closest to the exterior door going to the balcony was firm and I loved it. Everything seemed to be clean as well. What was cool though is once removed to that one we drove out to get breakfast about 20 minutes later and noticed that maintenance was already in room 206 repairing everything that we had complained about. I think that is a testament to how much they care. I would definitely stay here again based on the customer service I got. I would always choose cars cottages though as they seem to be a little bit more taken care of. But the Jacuzzi was nice even if it didn't have bubbles! The only thing I would like to see is triple sheeting on the beds because that shows me everything is washed each time. We had the same coffee in the room at Carr's cottages but it was completely different and better. I'm thinking the ones that the first location were just old. So, amazing customer service, their team jump right on the repairs and we were moved with no issues. This is located up 321 about a mile off of the parkway. It is a steep incline so I would not recommend walking. It is across the street from a flapjacks pancake cabin, 1.8 mi from McDonald's and food City. Also about 3 mi from the craft village. This is a quiet end of town!"

"Overall the stay was decent. When we checked in, we had excellent customer service. I did make a few pros and cons list. Pros: ➕️ Tall refrigerator and freezer, clean inside and out. ➕️ Microwave was clean inside and out ➕️ Bathrooms were somewhat clean, just a few hairs were found, which is normal. They even come with soap and shampoo dispensers ➕️ Filters are very clean in the heating and cooling unit ➕️ WiFi is great ➕️ Staff was extremely nice and helpful ➕️ We did check for bed bugs and did not find any evidence of any bugs Cons: ➖️ Not vacuumed ➖️ Needs to be dusted in all areas, especially on top of bed frames, etc.. ➖️ Needs bigger trash cans ➖️ Door needs better security ➖️ Behind the bed was very dirty and needs cleaned ➖️ Hotel Phone does not work and the cords are rusted ➖️ Baseboards are nasty and need to be cleaned Disappointed: The staff does not bring your towels or other necessities to your room, you have to go get them, and the office is about a two-minute walk from the actual hotel/motel Added Bonus: Windows had a Barn-Style door, which was adorable. The location was decent, it was still about a mile of walking. Up/downhill. The price was great for a third-party purchase. If you try to purchase through the hotel it is way more expensive."

"When we visited the County Town and Suites, we was greeted with nothing but friendly customer service. Overall, we did have a great stay. I made a pros and cons list. Pros: ➕️ Tall refrigerator and freezer, which was very clean ➕️ Microwave was also cleaned inside and out ➕️ Bathroom was somewhat clean, some hairs where found, which is normal. Even had Soap and Shampoo dispensers. ➕️ Filters where very clean in the heating and cooling unit. ➕️ WIFI was wonderful Cons ➖️ Not vacuumed ➖️ Needs dusted in all locations of the room, especially above beds ➖️ Needs bigger trash cans in all rooms ➖️ Door needs better security ➖️ Behind beds needs cleaned tremendously ➖️ Top of door frames needs to be dusted ➖️ Hotel phone does not work and cords where rusted ➖️ Coffee pot had to be cleaned by us multiple times to get rid of Coffee grounds ➖️ Baseboards where nasty Disappointment: Does not bring towels or necessities to room, we have to drive or walk to the office which was about two mins. Added Bonus: Barn window-style doors are a nice touch. Overall, it wasn't a bad trip, just a few things needs extra attention. Location was nice. Price was great from a third-party, not from the actual hotel/motel."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was a breeze. We stayed 12/09/23. The motel could use a little tlc, but for the price we didn't complain. Not right downtown Gatlinburg, but close enough for us to walk. The cleaning staff could be a little more thorough; we found mold in the a/c and it had an odd smell. Full size refrigerator and microwave. They said they do have wifi, but it was down when we visited. Check-in is in a building down the road a bit (there's a small road behind the hotel connecting them). Overall a good value at around $100.00 a night. I wouldn't pay anything more unless it was last minute until the update a bit."

"My husband and I had a reservation here. We showed up and the clerk and manager on duty were cheery and happy. We went to our room without issue. However, after getting freshened up in the room, my skin started becoming itchy and irritated. We left to our first event and came back to the room. That's when we found mold on all four legs of one of the tables all the way up to the tabletop from the floor. Being very sensitive to the mold, we knew we couldn't stay. In talking with the manager, he allowed for us to cancel the reservation, but not before charging us for the couple of hours we stayed. We would have loved to stay in the room, but having a reaction to the mold in the room shouldn't be at the cost of the customers. The clerk who was at the check-in desk also saw the table and was incredibly kind and apologetic about the whole thing. It's just sad how the manager handled this and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone because of it."
