"This place is fine, we got a nice view from the deck, clean and overall comfortable room. The light in the bathroom is indeed very dim, but usable. About the resort overall, if you're willing to spend a lot of money, then there's a lot to do, otherwise, the water park was enough for me and my family."
"Fun place to visit just outside of the crowds of the smoky mountains yet only minutes away. We have been here a few times now, the only negative comments I have are that the rooms need to be freshened up with new carpet, paint and that the kid area in the indoor waterpark could use more updated activities. Oh, and the wave pool temperature could stand to be a little warmer for us “older” folks!"
"Embarrassing and disgusted. Stayed with a large group for business meetings. Several of us had major issues with the rooms! Leaky faucets, tubs don't drain, AC doesn't work, lights on bathroom need bulb replacement, rooms are extremely dark and not homey, and just really embarrassed to have the staff stay here. Not at all a family atmosphere! This hotel feels more like a motel from the 90's. Don't waste your time or money!!!"
"Great price but.... Rooms need updating, furniture damaged and carpet worn. Bathroom light very dim. All sit down dining was closed during our stay, they had grab and go but that's not what we wanted. The point of staying at a resort is so you don't have to leave unless you want to go see local attractions. Had to leave to find food options. We are older couple who don't use the water park so so no comments, it looked nice when we checked it out. They should have a 2 tiered pricing schedule, one price for no water park and a higher price for people who do use the water park. Not real close to anything but we knew that when we booked it. Next trip we'll probably pay the higher price and stay in Pigeon Forge."
"The rooms in the hotel have treble views, and you have to walk forever from the lobby or parking deck to get to an elevator that would even get you to your floor and then another football field to get to your room. If you have any trouble walking avoid this place. Note: For the price if you are not here with kids it has NOTHING TO OFFER. However, based on what I did see your kids will be bored after day one. Also outside food is not allowed. So far super disappointed in the room location. Hotel location seems good thus far (will update you on that later). Bathroom is dark and hard to tell how clean it is. Furniture shows it age. Carpet looks to be vacuumed but not steamed cleaned. Front decks staff truly doesn't seem to enjoy their job. I struggle to hear things over other noise but ask to repeat and the abbreviated response leaves me even more lost. Well, off to the store to get Lysol Spray and wipes for the nasty side table."
