"I asked if they have a new one for a tote bag in store. They said no and gave me the displayed one. The lady who seems to be the manager told me that bag was just put on display yday. When I got home and took a closer look, all the four angles at the bottom are having serious color fading. Looks like it has been tried many times……Make sure you check your items in store bc they don’t care at all. The girl who helped me find my shoes was super nice and sweet."
"Eh. Ally was very nice over the phone, but the customer service was just one shade off unpleasant in person. One employee in particular tried to give me a hard time for exchanging my jeans. Have had much better experiences at the Manhattan store locations."
"Cute store but no one greets you when you walk in. When I asked for a fitting room the woman seemed annoyed."
"I had the most amazing shopping experience at this store! Rachel L. was the sales associate that helped me. I haven’t been able to find jeans that fit me right for months and she was so sweet and assured me that we would find jeans that work for me. She was so patient as I tried on multiple jeans and I was so impressed with her knowledge of the different styles and how kind and caring she was throughout the whole process. I ended up finding the perfect jeans and placed an online order through the store for 3 more pairs. I couldn’t have done it without her. Finding clothes that fit can be so overwhelming and her energy and positivity turned it into a great experience."
"I would like to share that I'm a male and they only sell female clothing (at least in the shop from what I understand) so this is an entirely biased outside opinion based on what I observe from what my fiancé gets there: 1. Nicest, more caring and attentive staff you'll ever want to have in retail. They are knowledgeable, give you options but aren't pushy, and give you space to explore when you want it. Car salesmen could learn a thing or two from them. 2. They recycle the denim. The newly purchased material comes from recycled denim, as well as the fact that they offer the option to recycle your own old denim as well if you bring it back. This can be ANY denim! Not just there's! I recycle my old wrangler jeans I use at work there. They also give you discounts for doing this which is incredibly efficient, and highly responsible. Great idea, and keeps my partner happy when she returns as she reaps the benefits from my old clothes as well. 3. Although, these are some positives, after watching my partner over the years, I've noticed that they are not actually made to be as durable as they claim to be. They look fantastic and she claims that they are in fact very comfortable, however if you're looking for durability, a 20 dollar pair of Wranglers or Levi's from Walmart will actually last you longer than a pair from here that's over 100 dollars. So if you value comfortability and style over durability and don't mind spending more to help recycle some material for an actual good cause, then this place is right for you. But if you care about them lasting longer for what you pay, you may not get that here. My partner has had 3 pairs of jeans rip within a month of each other after only 18 months of rotated use...that was between 5 pairs of madewells, a few other brands, shorts, skirts, etc...bottom line is they were not continually in use. Food for thought. Again just some things I've noticed over the years from an observant guy who loves his partner."
