"Many thanks Ricardo for delicious caffe latte and Hot Chocolate. I finished my lunch at Whole Foods Market food hall and wanted to eat NY style cheese cake so I said I must have latte too. I found the Cafe Grumpy corner, Ricardo was so kind and helpful to prepare my drink and gave me complimentary hot chocolate when mentioned that my husband loves it. I will come back again. Highly recommended."
"Glad they opened in the area! I’d say is the best coffee around here."
"Great little cafe inside Whole Foods with ample seating. Love that they provide vegan milk at no extra charge."
"Don't let the name fool you, I walked out happier than when I came, the service was very nice, the baristas are friendly and make your order with care. The coffee is also uniquely delicious and this location is conveniently located in whole foods, a great way to end your grocery shopping"
"I stumbled upon Café Grumpy while shopping inside the Whole Foods Market in the new Manhattan West building. Café Grumpy has other locations throughout NYC but this is site is one of their newest. The coffee bar is immaculately clean and offers their house-roasted specialty coffee line. They also sell their coffee beans, various merch (mugs, shirts), cold brew, teas, and other coffee paraphernalia (stainless steel drippers, coffee filters). There are plenty of seating inside the market and the coffee bar is conveniently located next to the bakery and hot food sections. While there, I grabbed a cup of their cold brew which gave me a nice caffeine boost for the rest of my day. The drink was slightly bitter, full bodied and quite strong, not for the casual coffee drinker. The staff working the counter were great and very efficient. Prices are what you would expect from a Whole Foods vendor."
