"I tried their caramel carrot cake ($8.99 plus tax). The filling between layers was very pleasing and the dominant flavor of the cake. The cake had a mild carrot flavor and was sometimes difficult to recognize as a carrot flavor."

"Okay this place is definitely PRETTY. The pink decor makes for a lovely aesthetic to enjoy and take content. The staff was super kind. The place itself is super small but when weather permits there is outdoor seating. I got the pretty cocoa and the smallest tiniest cupcakes for $4 each. They were decorated cute. The hot cocoa was super good and I believe it was $10. I guess you need to pay for prettiness. I would recommend if you want to take in the scenery and enjoy some good desserts and breakfast foods but it is a bit pricey but hey it is the UES."

"This afternoon while walking on the upper east side, in search of a great latte, we found this fantastic cafe, Eat Pretty ! In addition to having delicious coffee, I also had a wonderful steak taco ! More incredibly, i was very impressed that the owners bake almost all of their desserts! The only thing they buy is their croissants and those they buy from a very reputable bakery! The owners are welcoming and really value their customers! We will be returning soon!"

"Eat Pretty has such a beautiful aesthetic! It takes a little while for the food and drinks to be prepared but that’s because perfection takes time. I saw some of the coffee drinks other customers ordered and they were so cute! I really like their menu! They have the perfect variety, from sandwiches to omelets to pastries. The croissant was on the smaller side but it was super soft ✨ The plain bagel BLT was especially good for two reasons: 1. The egg was over hard but with a touch of medium so it provided just enough moisture for the bread 2. The bagel was very understated. I wouldn’t have known it was a bagel by taste alone because it was so light and easy to eat."
