"The prices are decent, and they do have sales. I think they only have one dressing room though. They kind of taken everything for clothes, and some have rips or stains, so you have to check over things. It's just a fun way to go shopping without spending a lot of money."
"Nice place to go! You can find all kinds of neat little things clothing in good shape and the store is clean. Also the employees are very pleasant."
"I ve shopped there! But when I think about everything being donated to help people, there prices are ridiculously high! They just keep wanting more money $$$a purse $20 it was probably $18.00 new!Who determines the price on these donated items? The Madrid thrift store has decent low prices , great assortments and keep everything within the reach of a one parent home(income) They R concerned about people rather than just the almighty dollar! Salvation Army prices according to Walmart’s new things on various items!"
"Great store. There is a cashier with glasses that I really enjoy. She jokes with us and we have a good time with her. The others I'm not so impressed. Last time I was there I could hear one of the workers yelling at another employee ( you can tell he had disabilities and was part of some program) about getting leaking puddles of water in the store. It was very uncomfortable to even shop the front of the store because she was so loud. Another time I was told by numerous people how annoyed they are because the manager goes through everything and keeps the good stuff. As I know of now, that's a rumor... But it does keep me from going there a lot because I believe that's unfair and honestly taking advantage of the position and the fact they are donated to help people with little to no money. That same day, someone came in with a gift certificate to use and was told that he could not use unless that manager is there so she could approve of the items he buys because she doesn't want "top items" To go to people who don't pay cash... So I could see how the original rumor may be true. I wish the dark hair lady with glasses (maybe early 30s) would run that place. I'd be there everyday and I buy cartfulls when I go. There's a heavier set cashier who gets very annoyed if you buy more than a couple things and gives those exasperated deep breaths every item she bagged for me. Was not impressed by her at all. The store and that one worker would get the full 5 stars if these others didn't ruin it by an unfriendly attitude."
"It is for a good cause but must admit that it doesn't always a hit or miss. I was able to pick up two really nice frames for some pictures that I have. All for a good cause, paid more than they were asking just because"
