"My first time at Maurices, will def be going back. I've gained weight due to medication and really hate shopping, but needed more work clothes. I had placed an order on the website and had it delivered to the store for free (it's about 20 miles away). I called ahead to be sure the package was there, and told the lady who answered the phone (Michelle) that I really was dreading shopping and asked her to find a couple pairs of black pants in my size to help me hit the ground running when I got there. She was 100% happy to help out and had four pairs waiting (she was gone by the time I got there) and one of them was perfect. Another employee named Tammy helped me after I decided on the pants. I wound up with three "office cardigans" and four tank tops, all appropriate for work, all for less than $168. And only two things were from the clearance rack. Tammy knew how to help me pick out what I needed while maximizing the promotions they had today. I really feel like Tammy respected not only how unhappy I was with my body - she didn't do the whole 'oh, you're not fat" thing, she just respected that I was unhappy and helped me pick out clothes to build my confidence - and also how important it was for me to feel professional...I'm too old to feel okay wearing leggings to work! I am thrilled with all the high-quality clothes I got for the amount I spent. I also like that they sell both misses' and plus size, so when I do trim down I can keep going there. Thanks ladies!"
