"update to add: 2 days in, the plastic “gem” fell out of one of the earrings that were $89 per pair. What a rip off. I know you’re thinking you’re just going in for a simple ear piercing, and how can anyone mess that up, but go to a professional. I spent minutes looking at the dots before the piercing and making 100% sure they were even. Comparing them to multiple different landmarks on my face to be 100% sure. After piercing, she wiped the dots off before showing me the mirror. Within seconds it was immediately obvious that the piercings were wildly uneven. Unmistakable in a very quick glance. Exact same earring in the Cartlidge on both sides. One you can barely see poking out, the other is completely visible. Just go to a pro. Claires doesn’t do a good job, and since you pay for the earrings, not the piercing, they don’t stand behind the piercing with a guarantee/ warranty"
