"We were the only customers when we went in at 5 pm. So it was nice and quiet. Owners and waitress were kind and cheerful. Food was delicious. Took my son out to celebrate getting his job. Got 2 hibachi dinners and sushi. And veggie tempura for appetizer. And we all shared a fried icecream. Very little meat with our meals. Except the sushi. Had to get noodles on the side because they don’t substitute. Which is fine. Ended up paying $130 before tip for 3 people. Overall food was really good but overpriced. 3 stars for pricing and very little meat."
"Fantastic experience! I cannot state enough how much this place cares for the customer! I drive 62 mins to go eat here, it’s that good!! From sushi to the delicious dishes, Sake always delivers the best most fresh food! I cannot wait to be back at sake!! Thank you for your commitment to the customer!"
"It was good, not amazing, and for the price we won't return. $48 for two people for the small portion is ridiculous."
"Ordered Sake for the first time tonight from GrubHub for my family. We had the chicken katsu, salmon avocado rolls, shrimp shumai, edamame, and fried gyozas. Our food was decent overall. The chicken katsu came in a portion size that my hungry hubby was satisfied with and my 1 year old loved the edamame. The salmon avocado roll was also decent, tasting very fresh and nicely portioned with the contents appropriate in ratio to the rice (I hate when there's too much rice in sushi) and the shumai was what I expected from most places that serve it. For the price of the whole thing on GrubHub, our order came out to a whopping $76 (20% tip for driver and $6 delivery fee) which was very pricy for similar quality menu offerings at restaurants I've had elsewhere, although I've gotten more for less. The flavor didn't merit the higher price tag. They also forgot to give us soy sauce for the sushi. I can't knock it completely, because I thought it tasted decent, but I'd definitely think twice about ordering again with this price tag to another restaurant. *Update* After their response to my review, I've decided to knock it down another star. I find it baffling a restaurant would defend overpricing their food over upping its quality to make it worth the price they charge. I've eaten at plenty of other similar restaurants that not only offer similar if not better quality food, but quantity as well. Blaming delivery service charges isn't it. We use those same delivery services with other restaurants that don't use it as an excuse for overcharging. Your base prices are still too high."
"I was very impressed and chose to go there because of their reviews. They had a special sushi roll that I bought and I don't remember the name but it came out flaming and it was beautiful and very impressive. The service is excellent. I drove 30 miles just to try out a new sushi place. I will be going there again. I spent about $26 for sake the large roll and a wonderful ginger salad."
