"Many people have never heard of Oriental, NC much less one of the best restaurants there - M&M’s. It’s been around a long time now and the locals know what visitors soon find out, it is a great place for good food and socializing. Whether you are a thirsty sailor, hungry farmer or passing tourist (likely dropping off your kids at one of the camps in the area) there is something for everyone. I’ve been away from Oriental for a couple of years. There’s been a lot of changes but thankfully M&M’s is not one of them. It is still a great place for good food complemented by great service. My most recent stop was to try the soft shell crab sandwich. Good stuff! A lightly fried soft shell crab perched on a kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato and some remoulade sauce was just what I needed. Do yourself a favor and give it a try."

"This delightful place in this tiny town, the sailing capital of North Carolina, is nestled on "Water" street, just next to the harbor. Good food at reasonable prices, and excellent service. Quite a pleasant surprising find, and oh, so very much better than any of the fast food places. Still a lovely place! Calm and quiet. Great food at reasonable prices. This was our 4th visit. We drive an hour to get there, and will go back again. It is our refuge from the "storms" of life."
