"Horrible Communication and customer service. Furniture had to be ordered (placed on 12/22) which was not a big and we were told it would be in the following week on 12/26 and we could pick it up on 12/27. My husband drove back down there all the way from Yadkin county to pickup it up on 12/27 as the owner stated only to find it was in fact it was not there. He stated that is why he didn’t call us. I don’t know about other people but if you tell me something is going to be available for pickup at a certain date then that is my expectation unless you tell me otherwise. We received no communication from him so we assumed it was fine to pickup. He then stated it was overly business for the holiday, and blamed Ashley Furniture as the reason it was not there. That was definitely unfortunate but we know things like that can happen. We asked him if he would be willing to deliver it since it was not there when he said it would be, but he wouldn’t do that. He also never offered any solution or remedy for us wasting our time and money commuting over two hours. Then he told my husband it would be on the next truck which was coming in on 12/28 per the owner. We didn’t here anything for a week until he text my husband and tells him he only has half the order came and the rest of the order wouldn’t be there until the following week which was this past week.,At this point he is still not making any efforts to make this right. We told him we were obviously not going to make two trips back down there to pick up the pieces separately so we finally went down there today (1/13) to pick it up. There was only one lady working and not a single person there to assist in getting the furniture off the truck and on to the trailer. My husband had to climb in the back of two box style trailers to get the furniture alone and drag it off the trailer with no help. This is not how you do business. We are very laid back people and love buying local This place was recommended by a few friends however based on my experience, I would not recommend this place at all. "We bought a bedroom set from them . I had seen it online . I went to a local furniture store and saw the group I wanted . Ordered from Chris on Thursday . He delivered it on Monday 3 hrs away . Let me know exactly what time he would arrive and he did . They were fantastic with delivery and setup . There was no mess for me . I definitely would order from them again."

We have purchased bed sets, a living room set, dining room set, you name it from Chris. EVERYTHING IN PERFECT CONDITION! We did receive 1 item in which the drawer was broken (no fault of Chris’s) and he immediately switched it out for a brand new one, no hesitation. I would 100% recommend furniture by walker to anyone.
