"We cannot recommend this place enough and plan to come back. Our "Squirrell's Nest" cabin was even better than we could have imagined! The location is secluded and is really a unique experience. We stayed here for 3 nights on our 25th wedding anniversary vacation and wish we had a few more nights to enjoy all the local outdoor activities in addition to being in Bryson City. Robin made the entire process and stay an amazing experience. Highly recommend staying here if you are considering visiting the Smokey Mountains and want to stay in a less populated area."

"Had the opportunity of renting Deer Run this past weekend. Super cute, AMAZING location (peaceful & quiet) with an awesome creek running in front - no better way to start the day then listing to that sound while enjoying your coffee. Staff was great, super friendly and easy communication --- and if you get to meet Slim & Lucy (our 4 legged hosts) make sure you have treats available. Would most definitely stay here again - highly recommend. Motorcycle friendly!!"

"We were invited as guests to friends staying there. I found it hard to get around. Initially I made the mistake to turn right next to the office and drove all the way back on narrow twisty roads in a pick up truck. WRONG. Thank goodness I had 4WD! Turned around in someone's driveway and went back and called our friends. They got me to their cabin. A bit hard to swing into driveway and not too much room to turn around to leave. HOWEVER...the cabin was lovely, clean as a whistle and very comfy. We hated to leave."

"We booked a last minute trip to Bryson City. Spoke with the owner who was very helpful in getting everything pulled together at the last minute. Robin was really pleasant to work with. The cabin we rented was perfect, it fit perfectly in the area and we felt nice and secluded. It was well outfitted with everything we could want outside of our own food and personal items. This was an excellent weekend get away and would highly recommend."
