"Arrived at our rental located at 202 Tsali Way, Sevierville, TN, 37876 At 1030p on Sep 17th, all lights out and solar lights for looks only. Opened the door and house smelled moldy, found the light switch in time to see roaches scattering on the coffee table. Cabin was dirty with dirty sheets on the beds, roaches in the kitchen, bathrooms and 2 out of 3 bedrooms. Called the 24/7 rental office and still waiting for a call back at 12:40am. We have been sitting in our car after an 8 hour drive to get here. Paid over $800 for 3 nights and we're out the first night and most likely going to lose most of day tomorrow as none of us are getting any sleep. Now I'm sitting with over $200 worth of groceries that need refrigerator and the kitchen has roaches."
"Vacasa somehow ended up being the management company that took our vacation booking, even though we booked and paid for our rentaon the VRBO site, but anyway... At first site, we really liked the cabin we selected and it had the amenities we were looking for--hot tub, views, queen-sized bed and pet-friendly. The interior was beautiful, but I noticed that neither of the two beds were queens--more like full. Also, while they allow dogs, the spaces between the spindles of the deck were wide enough for my Yorkie to possibly squeeze through. This would have concerned me except that the cabin stands at the edge of a cliff/hill that has a 40 ft drop. The biggest issue, however, came from the hot tub. When we arrived, yesterday, it was arranging. Initially, we didn't think anything of it. Later that evening, we went to get in, buy the water was cold. Mind you, the tun had been running for several hours and was only at 74°. I called Vacasa and they said they would send someone out, but no one ever showed up--not even today I called again, this evening, and was told that our order was put as low-priority but the rep would escalate the issue so someone would come out. Well, we are still waiting. So far, I am not impressive with the service"
"RUN! DONT BOOK W THIS PLACE! CABIN WASNT CLEAN UPON ARRIVAL NO TOWELS OR SHEETS. HOT TUB DIDNT WORK THE WHOLE VISIT. "Do NOT book through Vacasa. The long and short of it is that the maintenance crew admitted on video that they had been to our cabin location on multiple occasions prior to our arrival to try and extracate water from the basebment level carpet due to an issue with the toilet overflowing into the bedroom. Upon our arrival, the basement bathroom was locked to which we were able to make entry since it was not indicated to be out of order. We also had zero notification of any issues prior to arriving. When we opened the door, you can see the picture that I took to show that the toilet was extremely nasty and there was trash left in the bathroom. The downstairs area smelled terribly and the carpet was soaked throughout. I will include the video where you can hear the water as you walked across the carpet with tennis shoes on. This made the game area, movie theate area, laundry room, and both bedrooms unusable. And considering we had 26 people on this vacation, 9 of which were kids, this became extremely inconvenient. Upon further investigation, we found that the air filters had exceeded their lifespan and were filty, which was problematic for our family members with asthma, causing one to have a full blown asthma attack on Saturday morning. I walked the property to find all sorts of trash around the exterior. The grill had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was trash under the front porch stairs and shoved under the back porch as well. The bed rails and frames and several kitchen chairs were broken. The pool table legs were busted and a safety hazard. The bathroom on the 3rd level did not have hot water and a shower liner that was too short for the shower causing water runoff to pool on the tile floor that was a slip hazard. Unfortunately, this family vacation was everything that we hoped it would NOT be. The cabin was dirty and since we own a home inspection company, I can safely say that it in infested with mold on the bottom level and a safety and health concern for all future renters, not to mention those of us who have rented up to this point."
"Cabin 2615 on Whipperwill Rd The balcony railing is broken and I nearly went over. I leaned on it to talk to my husband below and it went forward. It’s not attached on one end plus the entire thing moves greatly. Every cushion on both sofas and chair are greatly torn. Mattress upstairs is so worn and so uncomfortable. Plus it would have been nice to know you need a four wheel drive to get into where to park. Our car barely could get through the thick gravel to turn in to park . Would NEVER stay here again or recommend."
