"Truly beautiful property with a lovely rental cabin, plenty of fields to roam, and trails to hike. Stayed for two months in the summer and absolutely loved it. Indoors has everything you need for a restful and peaceful vacation, especially with the cozy bedroom, comfortable TV area, and convenient kitchen. The outdoor porch is awesome for enjoying a great mountain and countryside view at anytime of day, and the firepit area offers the perfect spot for bonfires and stargazing! Plus you will enjoy seeing wildlife traveling through the rolling hills, several friendly farm animals in a nearby field, and the domestic pets who visit the porch to make your acquaintance. The hosts are the perfect southern couple, full of hospitality and charm, available for anything you need during your stay. They went above and beyond in providing wood for the firepit, offering garden produce out of the greenhouse, and making sure everything was in perfect condition the whole stay. Definitely recommend staying at this farm for the explorer at heart who wants to feel like they are in the middle of nowhere but stay within easy driving distance to all modern conveniences and downtown shopping! Or keep driving and take time to explore all the hiking and outdoor activities that the beautiful mountains and this hidden gem of a town have to offer. Dave and Donna would love to have you to their beautiful farm, being excellent at hosting and very interested in hearing about your own journeys, but keeping the property very peaceful and always being respectful of guests to enjoy as much privacy as desired!"
