"There are not many hotel choices in Murphy, NC and the price reflects that. One of the most expensive Holiday Inns I've been in, but certainly the most disappointing. Pretty expensive to stay in this run down hotel. The pool was out of service. Cracks in grout and paint in the room/bathroom. The room had an unpleasant musty smell. Staff was friendly though. Overall, a less than average Holiday Inn."

"Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was the standard southern hotel breakfast, a variety of baked goods, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, link and patty sausage, cereals, juices, and coffee. The location seems a little unusual, it is in the middle of Murphy but not readily visible from the main road and kind of hidden behind a furniture store. I wouldn't hesitate yo stay here again."

"The staff was so friendly. The rooms were so spacious, there was plenty of room for my family of 7 staying there. The rooms were clean too! And I actually slept very well since the beds were very comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. Sadly we didn't have time for the pool so I can't comment on that. My only complaint is I wish they had just plain half and half to go with the coffee. Otherwise it was great! They even had hair spray in the lobby for our hair since we were going to a wedding and mine didn't work! I highly recommend this hotel!"
