"We go to Piegon Forge and or Gatlinburg at least once a year if not twice. Over the years we have stayed in some great places and some that weren't so great. Some of the negatives have included a scorpion in our shower upon arrival, our pipes froze one year because of the cold and we had no running water, we have been caught down the mountain and unable to get back to our cabin because of snow and ice, cabins that weren't as clean as others, etc. Some of those issues were caused by us and not directly related to a cabin but in all that time I have never felt the need to leave a bad review. However, last week we stayed in the above house and it was terrible. The house was very dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. We had 10 people and there were not enough towels in the bathrooms. The walls were scuffed, there were broken light fixtures, and there was trash all around the outside of the house where people just tossed stuff off the balconies. On the first night we heard a loud running water sound. We found water pouring from the hot water heater on the lower level. After an hour or so we were able to get someone out to fix it. He said it was fixed and left. A few hours later the problem began again. The next morning we called again and the same guy showed up. He stated that he would have to go back into town and get supplies. We mentioned to him that we had since realized 3 of the houses toilets were not working properly. He stated that he already knew and he would get to it. After fixing the leak he then had to go back into town for more supplies. He eventually fixed 2 of the 3 toilets and never returned. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was the worst place that we have ever stayed and I feel like you should have an honest opinion before spending your money on this cabin."
