"Finally some one whom actually understands Autism!!! I grew up in Knoxville but was in FL when we had our son. Moved back here to be closer to family with my son only to find Dr.’s that didn’t understand, and one absolute nightmare situation of an “education.” I was close to giving up trying to find adequate providers for autism when we met Dr. Christiansen. She was highly thorough. She went down the line of every behavior, back history, his medications I didn’t believe he needed to be on which she confirmed without even mentioning it. She, the local advocates, and my personal Dr. (Not someone who specializes with autism but still amazing) have restored my faith in Knox County. We had a long wait for her initial appointment but after meeting her today I am more than confident we are in the correct hands finally and she was worth the wait!! Thank you Dr. Christiansen and staff for helping us and guiding us. I am beyond excited my son will have this team behind him, as well as for our family. Brighter days are ahead now I can feel it."

"Dr. Christiansen took only 1 hour to evaluate my son and label him with autism. Most "experts take 3 days of 3 hour evaluations to make a professional assessment. Two of the most respected pediatric physicians in West Knoxville disagree with Dr. Christiansen's diagnosis. She has no degree in behavioral studies or child psychology. I do not recommend."
