"So insanely clean, such an incredible staff, zero wait. Incredibly sanitary. A ton of hospitals and emergency rooms are incredibly unkempt, overwhelming, and insanely dismissive. This place put me first, no one seems stressed or overwhelmed. Even had my own private room. Excellent care over all, even had a nurse call button and people were so attentive and responded immediately. Had to be transferred to Myrtle beach for admission, emergency room was a disaster. Can’t believe the night and day difference, stains, trashed equipment, even a broken framed picture with duct tape over it. Don’t transfer if you can help it."
"I was taken to a room within 15 minutes of walking in on a Saturday into Sunday night. While I was there for a total of two-ish hours, the nurses continuously came to check on me and give me updates about when I would be seen by the doctor (some sick folks had come in that needed to be seen before me). When I was seen, the doctor and nurse were both professional and caring (I had a GYN issue) and were cracking jokes to help me feel calm and more comfortable, and even joked with my fiance who was in the room. I was taken seriously, the tests I wanted done were done with professionalism and care, and I was perscribed medication that night before being sent off. I live in downtown Wilmington and came here, and I do not regret it. Such a smooth experience and wonderful staff. I HIGHLY recommend this ER."
"I told them about a problem I have been having and they told me to go to a different doctor that doesn't open until Monday. The problem is progressively getting worse to the point I can't lay down or move my arm without an unbearable amount of pain. I will not be able to work because they offered me nothing to help me through this weekend."
"I was on vacation in Oak Island when an open sore on both of my big toes (right and left foot), became swollen and infected. I came in to the ER to be seen, it was late and we were seen immediately. The nurse was Robert S. and he was wonderful. He was kind and caring and the nicest nurse I have ever met. I left there knowing exactly what to do to care for my womb. So happy that they were there to help me. I would give 10 stars."
"I had to go to the ER with what I thought was sore throat symptons but turned out to be the flu. Everyone was super nice & kind. From check-in to Nurse Sara taking vitals to Nurse Meredith swabbing me for covid (negative). They made me feel so comfortable & Dr Hatem was so great & explained my viral flu to me. A all around smooth great experience!"
