"The practice offers competent care and is happy to see you as long as you have an appointment. If you think you might be having a heart issue short of an MI & wish to be seen the same day, They will tell you to visit the hospital. I did. The ER determined I was fine and sent me home. As a result of this experience, I have no plans to return to this group...fair weather friends at best."

Nurse was friendly and Dr. Heckle was thorough, knowledgeable and great demeaner. Best visit in medical field I have experienced in a very long time. Makes the cost a little easier to justify. "Dr. Sutton is great but the check staff and manager over them are rude and on top of it when they tell you that they have a fifteen-minute after you appointment time check-in time they are lying, I got there 15 minutes after my time just to find out that they had canceled my appointment and marked me as a no show after I drove 45 minutes to the appointment but to top it off I was stand in line at 3:00 and they still didn't see me. They said you should be there 15 minutes early just to set and waiting for 30 is not good. I feel that am not the only one that this has happened to and would like to see things change when I talked to the manager she was not helpful at all and sided with the lady up front no one should ever have to go through this at heart specialist if you don't like your job get another one or learn I treat all people with respect I was also told that they have hundreds of people come through there. what percentage do they treat like me?"
"I have never been treated with more disrespect in my entire life based on the color of my skin. I am American and should not have to deal with racism. I called the front desk to explain my concerns and REBECCA was quick to shut me down & say I am not going to continue to argue with you. Instead of saying I apologize about your bad experience hopefully we can make this right. That would have been sufficient & a start to a positive path. The first HORRENDOUS visit we had they insisted on my mother having a translator when she speaks English, and she too is an American citizen but because of our Spanish last name they assume we need a translator; it’s baffling. The medical assistant treated us so badly and humiliated my mother. When my mother turned to me to talk to me. The nurse yelled at me and said, “ excuse me you can’t talk for her!” I said “ Excuse me ? I haven’t said a word to you ; My mother is talking to me and I’m not going to ask you for permission to speak to her. Please allow me to finish talking to her and then you can ask her whatever you want”. My moms blood pressure was over 170 that day; You could see in her face how bad her state was & that instance only upset her even more. They had to take her immediately to the emergency room. When people are sick they shouldn’t have to deal with people mistreating them. The nurse behavior was uncalled for. We recently moved to Belmont & this is the closest hospital. It’s sad we need to rush to a different hospital or practitioner because they mistreat us based on the color of our skin."
