"My dog has received numerous nail trims here. They’ve always been accommodating for my wish to do it first thing in the morning at 8AM. Really happy to continue coming here."
"THIS GROOMER AND SALON ALMOST KILLED MY DOG!! I have no words for everything my dog has gone through. I dropped my two dogs off at Salty Pawz and not even 30 minutes later I get a frantic phone call from Sandi that something is SERIOUSLY wrong with my dog Lily. She said she had multiple puncture wounds, was bleeding badly, and that she needed to go to the ER immediately. At first, she tried to say Lily ran into some cutting sheers but later changed her story and said it was her dog that attacked her after the vet made it clear she was attacked by another dog. Sandi admitted to letting her own foster dogs run around her salon unattended while grooming other dogs but she felt they were friendly and nothing could go wrong (none of this was known to me). While she was bathing my one dog, she left Lily alone in another room with one of her other dogs. Lily is 8 pounds and her foster dog of 2 months was over 70 pounds. He brutally attacked her and almost KILLED HER! She did not even see the attack as she was completely negligent and in another room with my other dog! I thank God the dog let her go because the vet said she could have easily been killed, lost her eye completely, etc. He said I am very lucky. She needed emergency surgery, sutures in three different places under her eye, above her eye, on top of her head. She lost 3 of her teeth from the attack. The groomer (at first) seemed remorseful but later stopped paying for medical costs past the first and second followup visit and no longer wants anything to do with the situation. She could completely care less. My dog has had 9 different vet visits from the attack, lost 3 of her teeth, and is completely traumatized from other dogs now. The last 6 weeks have been complete hell and all because of this negligence. Please do not bring your pets here. They run the risk of being killed. Attaching photo of what the groomer Sandi sent me after she realized Lily had been attacked by her dog and said she needed to drive her to the the ER. EDIT BASED ON OWNER’S RESPONSE: Speaking the EXACT TRUTH about what you did to my dog in a public review does not mean I need mental health help, it is to warn others so their own dog does not get killed or violently attacked. It is very disappointing you would even state that as a response and still continue to take zero accountability for your actions. False review? So the police report, text messages, photographs, pages of vet reports from each visit, multiple surgeries are all lies? Furthermore, all communication by you has been blocked. No one has harassed you as I blocked you and I asked you to please stop texting me. I let you know I was in touch with a lawyer to retrieve the funds for the remaining medical costs and that I did not want to speak to you any longer. Writing a review about what happened is not harassment. Please learn how to take responsibility for your actions, stop lying, and do better as a human being."
"Salty Pawz is awesome! We really needed someone that could take care of our dog Chevy who has high anxiety. When I called to inquire about nail-clipping I was met with such warmth over the phone by Carrie and that made my choice for me! Chevy’s nails are amazing and we have found our groomer! Thank you Carrie!"
"If you're looking for an experienced, friendly, and patient groomer, and reasonably priced... you have found one. My doberman puppy was previously "fired " from his very first groomer after just one time trying to bathe her. It was quite the traumatic experience for my puppy. And since then, it was suggested by her vet (techs) maybe she needed to be given anti-anxiety medication or to be sedated for nail trims. I explained this before Salty Pawz appointment and not only did she get it done but stressfree. We will only go to her from now on. I have a senior Papillion as well...we keep her hair short but she did exactly as we requested. We couldn't be happier...thanks to Sandi!"
