"Couldn’t even tell you the name of the vet we saw it’s been over a year. Anyways, I had a female vet tell me I needed to medicate and socialize my dog before bringing her in because she was aggressive. Which was odd because we go to the dog park all the time and she doesn’t have any problems with other dogs or complete strangers at the dog park…. So I had her bring my pup back and I modeled the same things they were doing (putting hands in her mouth, touching ears, paws, etc) and she was totally unbothered, like I had no issues with her. I left their office very upset about the visit because I had taken her there multiple times before and never had an issue. I left feeling very uneasy and something just didn’t sit right in my gut. Since that visit, we left and went to a vet clinic in Hampstead… we’ve been going there for almost 1.5 years now… I always tell them about my experience at LaCroix because I’d rather them know that she allegedly was aggressive rather than have something actually happen I kept that info to myself. They always laugh at me and say they have never even seen her show her teeth… she loves going to see her vets in Hampstead…. just makes me wonder what happened that one day at LaCroix. Why did I wait a year to write a review? Because dogs have good days and bad days just like humans. She has seen 3 different vets in several occasions at our new vets office and every single one of them have nothing but positive things to say about my pup and her behavior. She goes in wagging her tail and comes out just as happy if not happier than when she went in."

"We have had several vets in the Wilmington area but La Croix is the best. They are so good with the pups and super personable. They talk us through everything and I never feel like they’re going for a “sale,” only offering what they believe the dogs need."

"I brought my cat here when i was in college and I had a great experience! The curbside protocol was nice so you could wait inside your car with your pet until they were ready to bring you in. The Vet and Vet techs were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care for my pet. Since it is my first time being a pet owner they taught me a lot about owning a cat! I recommend this place 100%"
