"No need to go down the mountain for cancer care. This is a great medical center with a great staff. Compassionate and competent care using state of the art equipment. Recommended without reservations!"
"My wife, Alisha Dowell and I had an extremely poor experience with a doctor. He had hidden his name tag. My wife had an addiction problem years ago. We solved that problem, and there are multiple blood tests that prove her recovery, on record. My wife had come to be tested for leukemia. Instead, she got a lecture about what happened all thar time ago. She got asked in a very judgemental and insensitive manor if she had liver cirrhosis or hepatitis c, even though, again, there were multiple tests already on record that would have stated as such. It was extremely unprofessional, and totally unrelated to the tests that were being done. This is the second experience we've had at Watauga medical center with a doctor that has biases and displays poir judgement and attitude when dealing with an addict, or even a former addict. Watauga medical center is clearly lacking when it comes to holding doctors accountable or training them to do better. If they cant check their biases at the door, they need to get out of clinical work. I am etraordinarily disappointed and disgusted."
"This was my first visit to Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center. Dr. Tarrig was my physician. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Tarrig. My wife and I were so impressed how caring he was, how he explained everything to us in such detail, his bedside manners were impeccable. I have total confidence in the care that he will deliver to me. The nurse that drew my blood was great and so kind. We are so fortunate to have this staff in our area."
"The staff and care are amazing at Seby B. Jones Radiation Oncology Center. Every single staff member welcomes patients in a way that makes this experience bearable. I always felt informed and comfortable while taking radiation. These ladies go the extra mile to make each patient feel important and loved. I’m so thankful for each one of them and the care I received. It is a blessing to have this center so close to home. God bless each and every one of them!"
