When Don comes into my classroom the children light up to see him and give him hugs. I love how clean the center is and how great my team mates work along beside me, the atmosphere is very calm and loving! I love it. I definitely recommend Footsteps to anyone around the area."

"We love Footsteps!! My daughter enjoys her time here so much. Staff are always kind and friendly, kids learn throughout the day and my daughter always hops in the car full of stories about her day at pickup time. Indoor classrooms are set up with efficiency in mind, and the indoor play area is fantastic! Separate outdoor play areas with privacy fencing and plenty of toys and equipment to go around. Very convenient and safe location, reasonable rates!"

"We own a business in Mt. View so when my son and daughter-in-law took new jobs in Hickory we needed to change my grandson learning center closer so I being nana could help out. I first called Footsteps but at the time they were full. So we ended up putting him in another daycare in Mt. View.. Which was a terrible experience for all involved. My grandson was getting in trouble all the time. So I called Don and explained what was going on. After talking to him in depth about everything. He said he may be bored and need to be in a older room. Don invited us to bring him in for a morning to see how he would adjust. Within 3 hours of picking him up they said he needs to be in a older classroom. See with Don caring enough to listen to my concerns he was able to figure out what would work best for my sweet grandson. No more behavior issues. I can’t thank this staff enough for their professionalism and there impressive way of teaching and creating a wonderful learning environment for children! I highly recommend this facility and staff❤️."

"My son is 6, he went there from the time he was 18 months until he started kindergarten this past year. My daughter is 3 and has went there since 18 months. I see the negative reviews and I'm honestly confused. The teachers are wonderful, the new director, Melissa, is always happy and helpful and i just love her. The owner, Don, has always been great. And i could never say enough kind words about Ms Christian, she is AMAZING! They always work with me and they're always great at communication. But number one, my kids love it there, love the people, and look forward to going. Makes me a happy mama knowing my children are taken care of."
