Pardee Hospital

"This was absolutely the worst care I have ever received at any hospital in my 52 years of life. I explained how my chest was on fire now I was expelling copious amounts of Pleghm and I did nothing to help me. No antibiotics not even a Tylenol. I'm still sitting in the waiting room after being discharged with so little energy I can't walk out the door and they tell me they can't even give me an antibiotic. I am absolutely done with Pardee hospital. They were so flippant about kicking me out of here but it was embarrassing. Save yourself a pile of money and at least a 4 hours they took from me. Go to Park ridge or mission. Don't come in here and let Lacey Thomas Harrison MD and Joanne Wilcox the little minion PA take your money for nothing and give you absolutely no treatment because that's what they've done to me I wouldn't have gave a star if I could have got to the screen to write to tell you about how useless this hospital is. The worst care I have ever been given bar none useless and worthless. I will never be back to this malpractice mill"

"I visited the Pardee Urgent Care facility in Mills River in the beginning of September for a very bad sty in my eye. It was painful and unsightly and I needed a professional to have a look. When I got there the staff was friendly and helpful. They lead me to an exam room and I had a short wait for the doctor to look at my eye. The doctor came in and immediately started talking very loudly how gross my eye was and how he didn’t do those. Several times he repeated those words while waving his hands around. I asked what could be done and he said he would give me ointment and to check in With an eye doctor after a week or so. The whole appointment took 20-30 seconds of his time before he walked out. The nurse came in a moment later with a prescription for an ointment and I was out within 10 minutes or so of walking in the building. I am very upset with how unprofessional the doctor was with me. I tried calling the hospital to talk with them and they totally missed the point of why I was upset. I understand if he couldn’t fix my problem. It was his unprofessional and childish way of dismissing me that has me upset. I will go out of my way to avoid Pardee and any of their Urgent cares and I will be spreading the word about how they treat people! No one deserves that kind of treatment!!"

"The orthopedic care was excellent. A fractured femur took real skill to repair and Dr Mawn did a great job. The nursing staff was right on top of everything. The staff was responsive, the facility was clean and convenient. We are new to town and happy his accident landed him in Pardee. There were times I had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night, even ICU, and I was always welcomed and supported."

"While traveling out of town we brought our daughter here to their ED and she was admitted - every single person has been kind, caring, & attentive. We are so grateful we came here, and everyone was wonderful with my young kid. They triaged her rather quickly - it was the shortest wait I’ve ever had at an ED - and they admitted her, and have been taking great care of her, completing testing quickly and compassionately. I’ve been to many hospitals. The level of care we have gotten here is excellent!"

"I don't understand the negative reviews of this hospital. My wife was brought here yesterday for surgery to remove a tumor on her kidney it was the second procedure that she's had done at this hospital and both times she has received above and beyond care .I have never been to a medical facility where everyone I run into is so friendly and willing to help. Even the visitors here are extremely polite and friendly. My wife's care has been excellent.Yes the hospital is a little old and dated but it is very well kept and clean I can't say enough about how much this staff from my wife's nurses ,physical therapy, aides any staff you meet in hallways their all polite and friendly"
