"I had 13 staff members working with me during my radiation treatment could not ask for a better bunch of people"
"Malisha is awesome!!! Never met a more caring professional at the front desk!"
"I had open heart surgery here. The nursing staff is on point, even in the middle of the night. It never took longer than 30 seconds to have a nurse in my room. Dr. Walker (my surgeon) and his staff were incredibly informative throughout everything, and two weeks after discharge, I still hear from one of his assistants often regarding my Warfarin dosage. If you have to have a heart attack and open heart surgery, try to do it here."
"I have to say when I left my mother in the care of this hospital I was confident they were gonna take great care of her . She came in threw ER had to be rushed to emg. Surgery and her doctor and all the people that took care of her were great . After going home and taking a day off I returned to find my mom unable to speak more then 1 -2 words at at times . She told be that a nurse and aid had tortured and abused her all night. My mom said she reported it and that the big wigs had gotten involved and not to worry. Her care improved for a day and then more abuse and miss treating by nurses that I and others had witnessed and reported . 3-4 different reports were filed with the patient care advocate and nothing improved. The care was so bad and my mother became so bad that I had to stay with her for days to make sure no miss treatment or abuse would happen . She was transferred to a nursing home with hospic on board and improved everyday for 3 weeks. The change in her was remarkable considering I thought she was gonna die before I could get her transferred out of here . She did pass away from Dec . 4 th but I’m convinced that if the nurses hadn’t abused and tortured her like they did she may have been able to recover from the surgery and begin treatment for her cancer but we shall never know. She wasn’t able to speak normal after this abuse until I transferred out . She improve for weeks speaking normal after getting her out of this Facility. If you love your love ones do not take them to this hospital! She never had the chance to recover because of a few bad apples and misguiding of the stay and care of this place . RIP mama I will not let them get away with what that did too you ."
"My father had an emergency double bypass done there. In the ICU a nurse told my father when he said “ouch” to his incision that “it was not that bad” and scrolled through Facebook on her phone. As soon as my dad got transferred out of ICU (barely alert and oriented) someone came in questioning if my dad was planning on making payments or paying his bill in full. Talk about professionalism! Second, a month after discharge my dad is rushed back to their E.D. with chest pain. Short story short, labs indicated he was at high risk for blood clots. They did nothing! A week later, he was in the E.D. again in an active heart attack due to a blood clot. He had to get three stents in his heart in the SAME PLACE they completed his bypass! Thanks for your professionalism, and your poor judgement. I wouldn’t take my son’s goldfish to this hospital."
