"This is Richard Wilkinson using my wife's phone. I'd like to say what an OUTSTANDING experience I had today at Covenant! When I walked in I was somewhat confused if I was in the correct building. Then (thankfully) Jeff sprang into action. He helped me through the check in procedure in no time flat! A job WELL done! Then Lizzie gave me a quick hello and finished my check in. What a sweetheart! She told me where to go and what to expect, another job well done! My CT scan was perfect and I'm sorry I didn't get her name but, she was top notch also. Thank you ALL! Richard Wilkinson"
"Having never visited Parkwest medical center before in Knoxville, it was a little daunting because of the layout. Once you drive toward the facility, you have almost three entrances to drive in, so choose the main entrance and go from there. There is a free Valet service for patients, however to avoid the lines and wait times, you can self park in the visitor parking area. Just make sure you remember which lot you park in. Once inside, you can go to the medical check in for which they will tell you to check in with the self service medical Kiosk. It almost writes itself that you don’t have to have interactions with staff unless you’re a first time visitor or if you’re lost. If you are one of these two things, the front desk staff are friendly enough to help. Once the kiosk is done, you take a medical buzzer and sit and wait in the lobby. The buzzer is liken to a restaurant buzzer and it’s kinda genius. Once buzzed, your first instinct is to go back to the check in where your personal nurse or staff person meets you to take you into another part of the medical center to discuss the who and why you’re here portion. My personal nurse was Taylor E. Taylor E. was very upbeat, kind, laughed at all the jokes I could manage to stave off my nervousness and she was just personable. She listened to my needs and also helped with my requests of getting my pre-registration copies and also finding out why my appointment was scheduled. We discussed the billing and I also shared with her something new that she didn’t even know on the medical website that the discount exams are available. She was there to help. We then went over to another area that I dubbed the East Wing because it’s a massive place and can be turned around easily. She introduced me to Valerie N. and Debbie F. who continued to further check me in for my appointment and they had these stars on their name plates. I inquired and mentioned jokingly that these were their “flare” or their restaurant years of service. They laughed and made me feel really good to know that they were appreciated by other reviewers for their great service. Again, very personable. They thanked me for coming and wished me well. Thales simple greetings were awesome to have for a first time patient. Just when I thought the service couldn’t get any better, Lieja, my radiologist tech rounded out my visit for an outstanding appointment. Her overall demeanor and care with me while getting x-rayed was great. She too laughed at my jokes and shared that her three years as a tech was what she’s always wanted to do. This was great to hear because my care should be handled with someone who wants to be there and who wants to continue the work they were called to do. Overall, Parkwest made my first visit outstanding. Even my husband who accompanied me, thought the facility was top notch. We later joked that it reminded me of the movie, “Clueless,” where everyone had valet parking, everyone had a personal assistant and everyone was treated like they had money to burn which in everyone’s case is how you should be treated."
"My Mother had to have back surgery on the early morning of December20, 2023 at 6am. Her Surgeon is Dr. Paul Johnson. The surgery took several hour's. She was recommended by her surgeon & staff for a 24 hour observation overnight stay. My mothers private room was on the 3rd floor. I must say every thing was so clean. Nice Shiney floors an the evening & morning nurses were so kind to her. Thank you PARKWEST FOR ALL YOUR PROFESSIONALISM. ."
