"When you get medication mailed to you, it takes them a week just to send it out. Don't get meds mailed to you, just best to go pick them up. That's if you really need them. Other than that, it's a decent government medical facility, I mean, that's not saying much."
"Excellent and compassionate care. I have worked here but seen this week as a patient and experienced the kind of friendly, helpful responses everone benefits from. Thank you to all."
"I visited the ER today with some stomach pains and everyone of the staff was extremely professional. I have been to other VA centers and by far those is the best one yet hands down. They actually made you feel like a person and not a number. I actually have made this my Primary health care facility as of today."
"I want to say thank you to VAMC in Asheville for taking care of my dad during his surgery. Specifically, Dr. Schroeder, Chief Thoracic Surgeon for his excellent attention and professional expertise in conducting my dads lung surgery. In addition, a special thanks to the Nurses and staff in the Surgical ICU department for taking great care of my dad during his time in their unit. Your care and compassion is greatly appreciated."
"I want to recognize excellent service providers at our local VA hospital. Dr. Roach, orthopedic dept., did a fantastic job putting my shoulder back together. Kat is an orthopedic PA who skillfully helped me with pain management when the pain got out ahead of me. Finally, thanks to Josh who is a RN in the emergency room at the VA. He balances skill with compassion like a real pro. We veterans are blessed with these three caring for us. with great gratitude, Michael H, Iraq 2003-2005"
