"My grandmother is awaiting surgery and we have all had the worst experience with a nurse named Mia, on the 4th floor East bound. She has talked disrespectfully to 3 of my family members already and withheld information she legally cannot. My grandmother said she has been nothing but “hateful and rude” and that she can’t even ask her any questions without a poor response. Do better Ballad Health, and don’t hire just any nurse. Especially the ones who are there for just a paycheck."
"This particular specialist service that my daughter is a patient in is such a wonderful overall blessing for her. The therapist is amazing and it is a major priority to have a great therapist in a special service like this. Feeding therapy is the service we are using and if you or anyone you love requires feeding therapy then I highly recommend this department at this hospital and I absolutely think it will be beneficial for anyone who is a patient. The staff is always willing to help and go to great lengths to make sure you are taken care of. 5 stars undoubtedly. There is no negative feedback I can provide so I give this department the highest amount of support and recommendations possible."
"It’s the COMPANY it’s self!! Take care of your employees and you won’t be short staffed!! I feel like I am in a 3rd world country! I have never set in a waiting room for hours with an IV line in my arm! This is the worse operation for a hospital I have ever seen! No one knows anything and they did an ekg, drew blood, and put in the IV line just in case I needed it. I was lead back to the waiting area and waited for Radiology to come get me for an XRay and CT Scan! I was then returned to the waiting area and sat another 2 hours! I have watched people come in after me and leave. I’m still sitting here! This is ridiculous and a sad situation! We had 2 hospitals for over 65000 people in our community and they shut one down! Now this hospital is so overwhelmed that it can’t even provide care properly!"
"Look, ER is no fun, waiting, full, but the service they provided my husband with 11/23, was great! Doctors, nurses, staff in ER and floor 4 were professional, accommodating, nice people. Thank you for the assistance and care."
"Way too many issues to note but I can say the rooms are not clean I cleaned my mothers bathroom myself. They did not even bathe or sponge bath my mom after several days of being there so once this was brought to my attention I did that myself but had to receive a rude response when asking for the supplies to bathe her with. They cut the very fluids that were keeping my Mom alive off for no apparent reason this upset her quite a bit, she was confused as to why they did that and she was scared of what affect it would have on her. She tried to explain to the attending staff person that she cannot go without fluids and received a cold and rude response. Of course by the next day her organs were impacted, she was jaundice and it took several days and blood transfusions to get her back on track. Honestly I could go on but what’s the point. My mom is gone and we are left with all the memories of what she was treated like… this ballad health seems much more concerned about making money than healing. I notice the staff experience reviews are much higher than the reviews from patients and their family and friends. Sure there were some angels thank goodness this saw her through the staff that should not be there. Sorry she ever had to attend that hospital."
