"All three of my kids have went here. One is 18 now 1 is 16 and our 9 year old still goes here. I feel that this school helped me mold some of the most compassionate children along with our parenting. The staff has always been good to my Family. The teachers still remember my oldest son and daughter. I promise you that this elementary school is one of the best compassionate. Theres always a few bad apples. Deal with it in a professional way and youll be amazed. Because trust me.... something happens to the teschers after grade school and middke school and high schools in forsyth county have the worst if the worst... so be thankful for these teachers and staff at Bolton... because your hands will be full in the years to come with all the other school's."
"If you care anything at all about your children. Keep them away from this horrible excuse for a school. I have had children in the public school systems for over 35 years, and NEVER have I had as much hurt and heartache than what we received from this school. My child has been abused emotionally as well as physically by this person called a teacher. Regina Deon Brown-Scott. This woman humiliated my 10 year old daughter called her bad names, make fun of her in the presence of other students. As a result, my child was bullied over and over again. I spoke with the principal Dr. Frazier as well as the vice principal, Ms McBride. A complete waste of time. No action was taken. The day before my child's 11th birthday, Ms B.S. (Brown-Scott). Snatched my child up by her arm digging her nails into her jacket and skin, tearing the jacket and leaving injury on her arm. My child has been affected by this place in a terrible way. Physically and emotionally. The teacher still to this day is employed by the WSFCS. My child was cheated out of graduating 5th grade by this school. Due to her fear and anxiety of seeing the woman who abused her. A paid employee called a teacher at BOLTON ELEMENTARY. Legal issues still pending. Do Not allow your child to be abused by these criminals. Keep your babies away from this institution of pain and horror."
"My son is a kindergardener , his teachers communicate well with us, they also show interest in the children themselves and them learning and progressing forward in their studies and keeping them well behaved. The teachers there seem to not tolerate poor conduct which is great to me. Most importantly Bolton is growing and the teachers have a new outlook on the children's acedemics, and are willing to help students achieve better grades in math, reading art, science and social studies. We as parents at Bolton need to check up on our children often, and keep that same attitude at home with our children, and make sure that the children stay focused daily even on weekends."
"Pta is lacking, poor communication, kindergarten classes went from 5 to 3, nothing was discussed with parents only a letter sent a week before saying children will be switching teachers and classes, there is never a reasonable amount of time between getting information about things that require money and turning it in usually a week or less in most cases, the previous teacher (Mathis) we had was awesome and I was very impressed with her organizational skills and communication with us. Only a month in and not too happy, well see how the rest of the year plays out."
"Very nasty 3rd grade teacher who yells at kids and threatens their recess for not doing all of their home work. Our son is one of the sweetest, kindest, most compliant (he would have gotten it done by end of week!) and all she did was scare him to death, coming home in tears every day, so depressed, until we had to remove him from school and start home schooling! Beware of Ms I."
