"I went to Shivag Diabetic and Orthotics to get custom Orthotic footwear. One of my legs is shorter than the other (Limb Length Discrepancy), and Shivag's was one of the very few places in the Triangle Area willing to provide footwear for me. I have more than 4cm of height difference; shoemakers usually cater to only around 2cm of height difference. The owner was one of the kindest people and made every effort to make sure my shoes were perfect. The shoes are feather-light, and the shoe lift was made with precision in the lab. With the new pair of shoes, I am able to walk, run and play sports comfortably. I never realized the impact comfortable footwear could have on my lifestyle.
