Rita's Place 652 East North Carolina 55 Highway, Mount Olive, NC 28365

"Opens at 6:30am breakfast goes till ten is what I was told I believe. Called to make sure they were opened as it was Sunday before 7am. Not to far off the highway. Fair amount of seating. Menus were a little blurry but a decent selection. Bacon egg and cheese biscuits is what we got. Delicious, falling apart eat with caution as it can get crumby( wouldn’t eat while driving) the country potatoes were good decant seasoning, nice crunch. Got an orange juice in a bottle, Apple&Eve brand. Not my favorite. Food was served in a basket not Styrofoam as I saw in another review but that could have just been based off my order. Utensils were plastic. Styrofoam cup. Would prefer they be a little more eco friendly but overall would recommend for a quick cheap bite"

"I've been struggling to Rate this place because of 1 issue. Normally, I cherish Ma and Pa establishments with no frills or fancy fussing. The food was good, price, portions and service. EVERYTHING is served on/in disposable plates, cups and cutlery. That's My sole issue with Rita's Place. But that's Huge, an enormous amount of trash generated daily. Knowing that prevents me from eating there again. CarryOut.. maybe"

"Don't let the unassuming and simple atmosphere fool you! Rita's place served up a delicious lunch. Had BBQ chicken and fried trout, the food was great! The fish was excellent! A great value for the money since we got two sides, hushpuppies and banana pudding included in the very reasonable prices. We would eat here again!"
