"Byron helped my son with sizing and fitting of his new work shoes. So glad we came to Red Wing shoes as he was wearing too big of a size due to needing more width. He wore the shoes for a few days still finding them too tight. I phoned the store, explained the problem and Byron suggested bringing them in to stretch! Now my son says they fit fine. Thanks Byron for great customer service!!"

"I went in on a weekday afternoon before Christmas and there was maybe only (1) other customer in the store. The staff allowed me to brows and said if I had any questions to let them know. I asked to try on a couple boots, but they didn't have my size in stock at the time. I opted to order the style I like the best and have it shipped to my house. The staff said if there are any issues when the boots arrive, they can exchange or refund them. The boots came fairly quick and fit. I wore the boots for a week and some stitching came undone near the laces. I went back to the store and showed the Manager, he offered repair suggestion or an even exchange. I took the repair suggestion, and he noted the repair fails I would still have the full year to exchange for a new pair. My experience was pleasant, the staff are very knowledgeable and polite."

"Be aware that if you buy anything from this store, all sales are final. This isn't posted anywhere in the store nor is printed on your receipt. The sales associate only mentioned it after saying that they can stretch the boot out if needed to make the boot feel more comfortable but if they do that, then they can't take the boots back. I had to reach out to customer service inorder to start a return process for a pair of boots that I bought same day."

"I went to this location late in the day with some of my workers to buy then steel toe boots. The service was great at first, but then our sales person started to make off hand comments about the possibility of my guys stealing the display boots or other items from the store. Honestly I don’t know where this came from as we had been nothing but cordial with him and the other staff up to this point. I called him out and told them there was no need for such comments. He then continued on his tirade and mentioned that it was a good thing that the store had cameras and even went as far as suggesting we go to Boot Barn next time. I this point I should probably mention that we are all Hispanic. Honestly I was shocked that he was so blatantly open with his racism, I asked for his managers name and number and he told me I could just call the store, which I intend to do once they open in the morning. This experience has greatly soured my view of the Red Wing brand, how can they allow such individuals to represent them is beyond my comprehension."

"Took my son to purchase new work boots. He willingly paid a hefty price for boots he hopes will last and stand up to the rigors of his job. Minus one star as we wish the salesman had taken the time to discuss care and upkeep of the boots."
