"The good: The Starbucks coffee was good. The linens were clean. The business center was good. The employees were accommodating. It was generally quiet. The not so good: It was dated. It had a weird smell in the room (like a musty smell, maybe mildew, not sure). There was no body wash in the dispenser. No free breakfast/Starbucks coffee. It didn’t really feel like a Marriott property. I would wait until they remodeled before staying again."
"Had a lovely stay. Great location. I left my hearing aid charger. Lo and behold, months later I get a package with my charger! I called to thank the staff and to leave a gratuity. The loveliest person at the desk said that was not necessary. It was their custom to track down and return items. We will surely be back."
"Quite a disappointment. I have always jumped at the opportunity to stay at a Marriott Courtyard, knowing it will be clean and offer quality service. Especially since I worked for them, “back in the day”. This experience has tarnished my view of the Marriott brand. We had to switch rooms because the first room had ants everywhere. The location is perfect and layout could be very nice , However, it seems worn and not kept. The bushes are even overgrown, you can barely get to the pool. Then there is the “service” or lack thereof. We needed towels because we had been to the beach all day and had to get showered for dinner. I went to the front desk, where she told me, “housekeeping hasn’t stocked me with any, if you find a house keeper somewhere in the building, you can ask for some.” She did say she would “make a note” for the next shift but it would be a long while. SO, I went on the hunt for a housekeeper, once I found one, I asked for 3 towels. He looked at me like I had just asked him for a priceless artifact. He reluctantly gave them too me. I felt like I needed to plead my case for the need of towels. After which, he told me we guests ask for towels and leave 20 stacked in a corner. I walked away with the towels but feeling like a scolded child and then Realized I was paying for this experience. Oh, then there’s the remote control…It didn’t work. This is a small detail but added to our negative experience. Not sure if Marriott reads these, or cares. I would love for them to offer an apology and some good quality costumer service to repair my view of the brand. However, if they don’t at least you are reading this and can make the choice how to spend your future hotel dollars. I know I will."
"Avoid this hotel. The shower has mold and the hair dryer was absolutely disgusting. The windows were also covered with moisture and we could not see out (not much of a view it was the parking lot). The only saving grace, the beds were quite comfortable."
"I have stayed twice at this location. I really like the motel, the people are nice, the price is a decent value and the rooms are mostly comfortable. My recent experience included a little surprise. I found hair extensions in the bed. I am a guy, I wasn't too worried about the incident. The more I thought about it, I did question how the extensions got there. They were either left by housekeeping or the room wasn't cleaned, and that bothered me. I reported it to the front desk. The attendants said the general manager would call me later that morning. I heard nothing. The next morning, I mentioned the incident again and the front desk staff said she would definitely call me. It's been several weeks now and I have heard nothing. I understand that's a tough call to make, but as a GM, you have to do it. The guest deserves to know you care enough to acknowledge a mistake and offer an apology."
