"Heidi is fantastic! We knew from our first conversation that she was an amazing doula that we’d be lucky to work with. She is passionate, kind, approachable, and cares deeply for her clients. As a first time mom I was anxious about what to expect throughout pregnancy & birth. Having Heidi a text away for questions or reassurance was invaluable and gave me so much peace of mind. The education she offers through Birth Story Academy helped me feel very well informed on decisions we’d need to make leading up to and during labor and delivery. The community she fosters with her clients is also so wonderful for expecting parents. Unfortunately Heidi wasn’t able to be present for our son’s birth, which we were bummed about of course, but knew was a possibility due to the nature of birth work and the unpredictability of having multiple clients go into labor at once. Heidi ensures she has back ups in place, so we weren’t left without doula support. Her back up doula A’myrah attended our labor/delivery and was extremely supportive! Highly recommend Heidi if you’re looking for the best doula team in Charlotte and a strong community of other moms/parents in the area."
