"Good location, very friendly employees, nice room, great price. Beds were super comfortable. Parking garage is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle. Restaurant was pretty good and the bartender was great. Would be nice if they offered free breakfast. Overall great experience and will come back when in the area."
"We were just in town for one night for an event & this hotel was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was spacious and had a nice view. The bed, I literally could just melt into the comfort of the mattress, pillows & blankets. It was extremely windy & cold, and the comforts of the room were so welcoming. The stocked Keurig station was very much appreciated (my only suggestion would be to add hot cocoa). Everything was clean & smelled nice. The fitness center was was also nice & clean. It was very convenient & had a variety of equipment for an early morning workout. There was some technical difficulties when we got back in the evening, but Rick was so nice, helpful and he has a wonderful personality. It was extremely cold, the hotel was sold out, it was just him at that time of evening and he did a great job to address our issue in a timely manner. He went above & beyond to assist us; his attentiveness and care really left a lasting impression on us. This morning we visited the store in the lobby, they didn’t have at that time an item my sister needed. Felicia, at guest services, really came through in a clutch. She did not hesitate to assist my sister in obtaining what she needed and it was really surprising to us how she went above and beyond to help her. Thank you again Felicia for your wonderful service!!! All the staff that we encountered were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Charlotte."
"One of the worst experience I have had from a Hilton Hotel. My flight to Austin, TX got canceled so my company put me this Hilton for the night until the morning I get to hotel and all my information is in the computer as long as the company credit card. Woman that was helping me was very kind and professional. Her supervisor was not at all. Long story short, I ended up putting the charges on my personal card instead of dealing with the supervisors attitude. I get my things and head to the room. I always do a video of the room after I do a look over. Once I get to the bed, pull covers and pillows to the side , I see dried blood stain marks on my sheets. I'm so tired at this time from long delays at airport, I didn't want to talk to the supervisor. I go downstairs, smoke, brush my teeth and slept in my clothes with the sheets on top."
"False advertising. In December I had an important doctor’s appointment scheduled in Charlotte. I decided to bring my sister and my daughter to help me. My daughter is autistic and it was her birthday. I specifically chose a hotel with an indoor pool. This may not sound important to other people, but it was very important to her. There is an indoor pool and it was very clean…probably because no one can use it. The heat was blaring throughout the hotel, but no heat in the pool room. In fact, it felt like the air conditioner was on. The pool was not heated and was freezing. My daughter tried to get in several times, but it was unbearable. Disappointed, we went to the front desk. We were told there was nothing they could do…no heat in pool or the room. They explained how people often ask for heat in there, but there was nothing they could do. We would have stayed elsewhere if I’d known about this situation and next time we will be in a hotel with a warm indoor pool and more accommodating parking situation."
