"Don't go to Shoe Department in the Asheville mall if you are disabled and have to wear a bag/back pack to carry your stuff that you purchase. I have to use my right hand for the cane and the left one to catch/hold onto stuff when I stumble. Which at this point it is many times per day. As my daughter age 9 and I entered the store and walk down the aisle to get some new shoes for her. We were approached and told we need to leave because I have a bag on my back. Not once was I ask to store it at the service desk nor ask to take it off. There is also no sign saying no bags or backpacks. They lost the sale of 2 pairs of shoes today. In reality it is many more pairs of shoes. I said I'm disabled and need to put the shoes I buy in there. He said I don't care you need to leave. It's the same for everyone. Yet there was woman with a stroller and a huge diaper bag there to. Why wasn't she told to leave? This was done by who I was told is the store manage."

"Awful customer experience. I was trying out some shoes( to be exact... chaos) for the kids department because I have a small feet. Plus they were on sale. But there was a certain color I like and I started looking for it through the boxes bc sometimes there aren’t where they are suppose to be and one of the employee was rude about it and told me there was only one shoe in the box and I said okay. As I was staring to put the shoes back up he came back and said that he will fix it and gave a ugly look and an attitude. Before even trying on the Chaco, I tried a pair of boots one and they were like scratched and what not and where of sale for an additional 50% off. The shoes where really scratched and it was the display shoes and it was the last size and I ask if I could get an additional percentage off bc of the condition they were. They said yes. When I went to go check out he, the guy that gave me a ugly look and and attitude would not give me the extra 10% supposedly because they where already on sale. I work in retail and know how this work. If it was the last pair, or the display shoe or it’s damaged and you bring it to the employee attention you usually get an additional percentage off if approved. And it was. But at the end he didn’t give it to me just because I was looking through the boxes of the chaos. Like how rude. Worst customer service ever. He was a older guy with this white hair. Very little white hair to be exacted. Rudest employee ever."

"The old white manager Chris harrassed me an my daughter and my girlfriend. We we're there shopping for kids shoes an was accused of being druggies an having drugs on us. Following us around the store making rude remarks an comments. Upon leaving the old white man Chris the manager started being biligerant an acting rude in front of our one year old daughter and the entire store. Later called an asked to speak with a manager about situation which at that time he answered an told me that he's seen me in the store before an for me to just stay away and not come back. I've bought plenty of shoes from there, but never again."
