"I had my kid's 8 birthday party at IDEA lab and educated my expectations. It's not easy to keep twelve 8-year-olds excited and interest for two hours :) the place is clean and Kosal is a great party host. I super recommend this place and my son had a blast"

"IDEA Lab Kids - Ballantyne is hands down the BEST. I’d keep this short and sweet, but there are so many great qualities to rave about. My 6YO absolutely loved the summer camps and is already asking about next year. Classes are uniquely themed to appeal to a wide variety of interests while also having great options if you’re wanting a mix of STEAM activities. The team is super involved with the kids and keeps them actively engaged (unlike other local camps that dump them in an open play area like a glorified daycare.) My daughter is usually pretty quiet after school days and doesn’t report back much detail, but she came home from her first IDEA Lab camp day and couldn’t stop talking about alllll of the different activities they squeezed into a single day - and, not just doing activities, but actual fun learning / discovery in the process. Cherry on top…parent communication before / during / after camps is like top-notch customer service. We always felt well informed thanks to their high level of organization and and response time. Given summer camp success, my daughter wanted an IDEA Lab birthday party. In terms of planning, Kosal (owner) was so nice and patient in helping me narrow down party themes and pick activities based on my kid’s interests. The actual party was a major HIT - my kid and her friends (ranging 3-10YOs) loved every minute of it. All of the parents were so impressed with how well run things were and how Kosal was so good with 15 wild kids - throughout the party, multiple parents were asking how to sign up for parties and camps for their own kids. I’m a high-strung planner and this was the most stress-free party we’ve had for our daughter. Could not have turned out better. Looking forward to future years of fun at IDEA Lab Kids - Ballantyne. "Hosting our 5 year old daughters birthday party here was an absolutely wonderful experience for the kids and adults! Kosal (the owner) is such a talented educator and clearly has a passion for what he does but also has an endearing personality that makes everyone feel at ease. We chose the super hero theme and the kids were entertained for over 2 hours with fun activities. The space is very clean and all the parents were raving as they left about how much they liked the location. Highly recommend and can’t wait to have another opportunity to enroll our daughter in some more of the other offerings in the future too!"
