"Excellent: -food selection, clear descriptions, quality -vegetarian options!! - price - drinks - making a celebration special (mini bouquets of flowers for Mother's Day!) Needs Improvement: - more attentive waitstaff -cleanliness (food was spilled on the floor and no one bothered to pick it up, even though many people walked past/over it) -more transparency on the time investment (we set aside 2.5 hours for a dinner with 6 people, but we still didn't even have time for the dessert course that we already paid for) -building maintenance/upkeep/design (we were put in a tiny room with a door that closed. It was extremely echoey because there was only the pain white hard walls, and not even any kind of art or anything to help absorb the sound. They also could have improved ventilation that draws air upward in the room. I was surprised they did not already have this due to Covid, but especially because of the type of restaurant it is with steam and smoke everwhere. Since there was no air moving except the air flowing in through the crack in the doorway, all of our guests were bombarded with smoke all evening in their faces, and we all left choking with bloodshot eyes and smelling of smoke. The table was also only bolted to the floor on one side, and because the table was extremely top-heavy, all it took was one person setting their elbows on the table to almost upend the entire surface, which would have resulted in two pots of boiling oil then dumped all over them! Thankfully our group was able to save the table before it had fully fallen over. I informed the management and they were kind enough to offer another table, but we were very much already all set up in the middle of our meal, so it would have been very difficult to move. Still, I hope they get this fixed ASAP as it is a lawsuit waiting to happen!"
