"Very prompt service. Hygienist Frankie did a great job on my bio annual cleaning, very caring and patient as I suffer from vertigo. Cost? Comparable but pricey."
"I left the practice because I was getting conflicting information on my long-term care plan which left me incredibly uncomfortable and not confident in the team. However since they made me PREPAY for my expected crowns, I left with a balance on my account. Two months later I still don't have my refund even after over eight calls to all three offices trying to track down their bookkeeper."
"Do not ever come here!!! The dentist I saw was only going to do fillings when I needed a root canal (and that’s only because I told him I needed them). I can only imagine what a deep, dark hole I’d be in had I continued dentally here. I presented with all the symptoms of needing an emergent root canal and my tooth nearly actually died because of them insisting I wait and “let the tooth settle” despite me being in high levels of physical pain. The dentist and staff could not answer any questions clearly at all, were highly uncertain and ambiguous, and provided no clarity or reassurance. The dentist I saw lacks empathy. They didn’t even reach back out after assuring me they would from me calling and pleading for medical attention in an emergent situation. Careless. The dentist called my leaking fillings a “stain” and is clearly incompetent and equally insensitive. Arrogance toward patients is very present here. If I as the patient hadn’t pointed out my OWN cavities, the dentist wouldn’t have even noticed them even after viewing an X-ray. In no way should a patient be responsible for their own diagnosis and dental treatment. I was very gaslit here in my pain, experience, and concerns. Absolutely unprofessional. I am so glad I cancelled with this place and found way better dental care elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for dental care. Their response labelling a review of this length and concern as “constructive criticism” shows how they don’t take patients seriously and continuously gaslight them. Immorality and immaturity will catch up to them no doubt. Update: they tried billing me $99 knowing my insurance wasn't taken into account and when I called to clear this up, they informed me that they “accidentally” charged people over the holidays without taking insurance into account..sketchy. Wreaks of financial desperation. Who as a dental company has information for insurance and does not include that when billing patients?!? “Ironically” the bill came to my mailbox the day after I requested to file a complaint with the office manager, who still after weeks hasn’t called me back. These people lack empathy and emotional maturity both (and then some). Having a (very dated) DDS and an office space does not make you a good dentist. You have far to go."
"I love this dental company. They are professional, kind, and compassionate. They explain your plan and make sure you are good with it. They make sure to ask if you have any questions. Excellent. I’m one of those who is particularly nervous at the dentist."
"Today, I had a cleaning, X-rays and two fillings done. It was the most comfortable, pleasant cleaning ever. The dentist, after looking at X-rays and teeth determined that one tooth actually didn’t require a filling, but he replaced a different filling at no cost and also fixed a crown that needed slight adjustment to give me more comfort. He went over X-rays and options for another tooth that may need work in the future. He is great at educating patients and giving them options. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have several locations ( I go to the Raleigh office) and also have suggestions for financial help. I switched to Atlantic Family Dental after decades of going to a different practice. I switched for insurance purposes, but I have been extremely pleased with all of my treatments which have included fillings, cleanings, root canals and crowns."
