"It appeared that owner and front line staff are unable to communicate specific requests/details to seamstresses in the back because they don’t speak the same language. Outcome poor and customer service after the fact was less than poor. Will not return to this location."

"Shocked and disappointed by the poor quality of the alteration. Two frayed, messy piping attachments and green thread sewn into white fabric. Pick up required a return trip at a later time. The manager, Ann, didn't think my loss of time and energy had value. Will never return due to poor quality and lack of interest in customer service. If I were able to enter a zero (0) rating, I would. However, to post this review, I had to enter one (1), which was not deserved. Other Lee's Tailor Shops in Raleigh are far superior to this location."

"I was hoping for a different experience in 2023. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I came in . The owner & a admin were there. Neither greeted nor spoke to me. I asked the admin for a price on 2 dresses, she acted like I asked something inappropriately. The owner barely came to me and told me the prices. Which was not reasonable for what I wanted. I truly believe they did not want my business and this is disappointing. There was another lady in the store, who they were more than willing to help. I would recommend people of non-Asian and white descent stay away. Go somewhere you will feel valued. Support better businesses."

"We’ve been very happy with the end result of several tailoring jobs Lee’s Tailor Shop has done for our daughter. The staff is helpful and friendly. They’re also good about a quick turn around if needed. It’s nice to find a local place that is reliable and pleasant to work with. They’re right outside of the old Sears."

"I had a bridesmaid dress done at the Crabtree location so I decided to try this one for a second dress. I needed some length taken off, hips let out a bit, waist and chest taken in. I called the day it was supposed to be ready (Friday) to make sure it was done before I drove 20 minutes to pick it up. After about 5 minutes of trying to locate my ticket number, they said it would be ready and steamed when I picked up on Saturday morning. I went in right at opening and the dress wasn’t steamed and the hips hadn’t been let out. Then I was asked to come back on Monday and I explained that I couldn’t because of work. Then they said it could be ready by 2:00, so I had to come back and learned the total was $24 more than I was originally told. When I asked why the total was different, the salesperson just kept repeating to me what I had gotten done. I didn’t make a fuss or ask for anything to be deducted for the inconvenience, and then I came home and discovered my dress had 3 obvious marks on the front. UPDATE: On the day of the wedding, when I went to get dressed we couldn't get the zipper up past the waist. The dress fit perfectly but the zipper had been damaged and 2 bridesmaids had to sew the top of the dress together. Both dresses I got done at each location fit well, but I did not have a great customer service experience upon pickup at the Six Forks location. It seems that men have better experience with their clothes here, don’t think I would bring another bridesmaid dress back due to costs and experience."
