Dollar General 9129 Executive Park Drive, Knoxville, TN 37923

"I use to work in Cedar Bluff, but now, much further away. I'm rarely in the area, but I was on 12.12.23 for an appointment. I'm not a huge fan of Dollar General, as a matter of fact, I leave many of them calling them "Squalor General.:" Most are dirty, jam packed with boxes to be unpacked (not the employees' faults...I spent my time working for 2 different locations during Covid...the business model is chaotic). Anyway, I use to stop by this DG off and on, and it was a mess. I was expecting that again when I walked in yesterday. I was more than shocked when I found the place in great, clean order. It was much more comfortable shopping than before (and many I visit). On the way out, I was fortunate enough to meet Hailey and Miracle, very kind employees that seemed to actually take pride in their work and in the state of their place of their employment. I highly complimented them on what I saw, and I shared I knew first hand the challenges of keeping a store neat, clean and organized. They were very appreciative, and I appreciative the kind conversation we had for a few minutes. I wanted to complete a survey on the receipt, but I failed to get that piece of paper. So, I hope the powers that be read this, and I hope they, as well as the public who visits this DG, will show their own appreciation for the hard work and hard workers at this location."

"The store was an absolute Trainwreck! Stuff was cluttered on almost every aisle. It was crazy messy and just terrible."

"Check your receipts if an individual is checking you out. Your price will be cheaper at the machine. Their teller tried to charge me 8 plus dollars for chips that were marked at 6. I told her no thanks after she argued with me about simple math. And got nasty when I asked for my money back. Oddly enough the return receipt was the price it should have been. So I went to the non sketchy one down the street and sure enough chips were 6. The drive is worth the hassle of Not getting hustled when doing your shopping."

"I have stopped in the store a few times because the store is on my way to a regular appointment. It usually has what you need- although sometimes finding it is a challenge. The store is understaffed, and the aisles often are congested with carts full of stock waiting to be put out on the shelves. Items frequently have no price tags. The few employees I've seen are always friendly and as helpful as possible."
